SNS Network is stepping up its game in the AI space, joining forces with Nvidia to introduce Malaysia's first fully managed AI cloud service. The new platform will be hosted at Telekom Malaysia's data centre in Cyberjaya, aiming to accelerate AI adoption across industries.
This AI-powered "factory" is set to divide its computing capacity equally—half dedicated to commercial workloads, while the other half supports AI growth through training programs and hackathons. At the heart of the operation are Nvidia's powerful Hopper GPUs and Dell servers, delivering top-tier performance for businesses and developers alike. One of the standout features of this service is local hosting, ensuring data sovereignty and compliance with Malaysia's data privacy and security regulations. According to SNS Network's Managing Director Ko Yun Hung, the AI cloud service will offer scalable infrastructure, allowing developers to access high-end computing power without heavy upfront investment.
For those looking to tap into this cutting-edge tech, SNS Network is rolling out flexible subscription plans. Pricing starts at RM35,000 per Nvidia Hopper GPU and RM240,000 per Dell XE9680 server, with industries like finance, healthcare, and education expected to benefit the most. "With this first-mover advantage, we're positioning SNS Network to capture growth opportunities in the AI data centre value chain. As demand rises, we remain committed to expanding our capabilities and driving AI adoption in Malaysia," Ko said.
Investors seem to be responding well, with SNS Network's stock price gaining 1.5 sen (3.9%) to hit 40 sen on Friday afternoon, giving the company a market cap of RM663.98 million. However, the stock remains down 42.86% for the year. With AI becoming a bigger part of business operations worldwide, SNS Network's bold move into the AI cloud space could make it a key player in Malaysia's digital transformation.
