CIMB Bank has announced a revised date for the discontinuation of its CIMB Clicks mobile app, now set for 19 April 2025—a slight extension from the original schedule. While no specific reason was provided for the delay, the extra time offers customers a bit more breathing room to complete their transition to the bank's newer CIMB Octo app.
CIMB Clicks Winds Down Features Ahead of Shutdown
Over the past few months, CIMB has been gradually phasing out key features on the Clicks app. Services such as fund transfers, loan payments, and DuitNow QR support have already been disabled.
With the new end-of-life date in place, CIMB has confirmed that after 19 April, users will no longer be able to access their accounts or approve transactions, including web and FPX transactions, via the Clicks app.
Customers Urged to Migrate to CIMB Octo
CIMB continues to encourage users to migrate to the CIMB Octo app as soon as possible to avoid disruptions. Octo retains all the core functionalities of the Clicks app while offering enhanced features, including:
