Maybank MAE App to End Support for iOS 13 and Below by March 2025

Maybank has announced that starting March 31, 2025, its MAE app will only be compatible with iPhones running iOS 14 or later. Users with older iOS versions will no longer be able to use the app beyond this date.

Users may still have temporary access, but Maybank cannot guarantee continued functionality beyond the cutoff date.

Secure2u Reactivation Required on New Devices

For users installing the MAE app on a new device, Secure2u reactivation will be required at a Maybank ATM, along with a 12-hour cooling period before transactions can be approved.

The Maybank2u website will remain accessible, allowing users to check account details.

However, transactions requiring Secure2u authentication will not be possible without the MAE app, meaning some banking functions may be restricted.
